Taylor Windshield Question

I recently built a second console and added full walk through flat glass Taylor windshield. I purchased it as "new old stock" and it didn't come with instructions.

I got it completed and I cannot figure out what to use to keep the walk through portion from sliding down. I attached pics, appears there is a pin or a bolt that must hold it in place.

I have tried a number of different bolts and they tend to bind when I open and close the glass.

Looking forward to some help.
