All right, you got a good looker too! I don't know what it takes to kill these things. They just seem to run for ever. I have had several of those 5hp T models over the years. Some where pretty beat up, but I can't recall ever not being able to make one go. I use 24:1 mix, and 90wt gear oil. Be a little carefull with the ignition, as those parts are becoming harder to find, and cost too much when you find them. They have little bake-a-lite sticks that open the points. They stick sometimes. Just clean the contacts and lightly oil those sticks. A friend gave me a TD about two years ago. When I get board I gas her up, put it in the tank and let it run as slow as it will, untill it runs out of gas. Takes pretty much all day. This motor looks like the devil, but never misses a beat.
