Ted Williams 5.5hp - Internal tank fuel line

Hi All,

Hoping someone has some familiarity with this engine. ESKA 5.5hp guessing 1972. Here's the scoop: I changed the lower gear oil and spark plug, mixed the gas with 2-stroke and lead additive and was about ready to fill the built in fuel tank and place the drive in a barrel of water to see if she'll crank and run.....then realized by following the fuel line from the tank that it was capped off from the carb. Theres another line hooked directly into the carb running to an external connector setup to leverage an external tank and bulb setup.

My question is: what part am i missing to leverage the internal tank instead of connecting an external tank? Just a connector or maybe a fuel filter? Where can i find one that will work? See pictures attached..line was capped.

Inline fuel filter was there. Someone was smart enough to add it so trash from the tank didnt get in the carb

Thanks, so will anyone do the job or should i look for a specific one? Not quite sure if i can go wrong with certain ones. Appreciate it
