i have picked up a Ted Williams out board and i was wondering if they have a fuel pump. it is a 7.5 hp with the serial #208-199 and it doesn't appear to have a fuel pump. i have rigged up an omc gas tank and the motor wont run properly . is hte tank the problem?when you dis connect the fuel line at the tank the motor seems to run perfect but when the line is connected to the tank it doesn't want to run goodi think it may have to do with the tank connections? any ideas, thanks. fishmonger.33

if you get the model number, goto www3.sears.com and enter it in the box. Then, check the diagrams and parts list to see if you can find one.

P.S. Sometimes www3.sears.com won't recognize every model #. Still post it so we can help you further.

If it has provisions for a remote tank then there is a fuel pump. Some of those motors have a little pump built into the carb.
