I have a 1986 140hp evinrude looper, where would I connect a tee fitting to cooling system to monitor water pump health, I,m assuming it should be between pump and another fitting, I see the t'stats and the lines that run between them as well as the water control valve at the throttle? and the tell tale outlet. Any info is of great help. I would like to add this because I run most of my running time in high silt/sand conditions. Thanks in advance, truely a great site
