Teleflex hex nut

What is the size of the aluminum hex nut on Teleflex steering cable.
This is the nut that attaches to the tube of the splash well. I need to
remove the cable to clean and re-lube the tube. Any tricks on getting it off???
Mine is frozen on pretty bad and I don't want to mess the edges of the nut. Thanks!

I had mine off last weekend and used two adjustable Crescent wrenches. These won't chew up the nuts.
