Teleflex rack steering

on 1994 20' Trophy walk-Aound. Finally got steering cable rod into tilt tube after a good reaming out with a brake cylinder honing tool. Now, need to replace steering wheel pinion.New rack doesn't line up with old rack bracket. Guess now I need a wheel puller. D.G.

Many thanks for the tip. I did just that and it worked like a charm. I just might get this tub back in the water yet.

Loosen the nut until it's even with the end of the shaft. Put your knees behind the steering wheel and grab onto the top of the steering wheel with one hand. With your other hand, hit the nut with a hammer while pulling out on the steering wheel with your hand and knees. I never have needed a puller.
