i have a 86 bayliner capri 16 foot with a 85hp force.i just changed my steering system with a teli flex rack system just like my old one, but there is a plate with a sleve that is not on this new system,it holds tension on the steering shaft,i cant use my old one cause the shaft hole is bigger.will this work with out this or will the steering will be to loose and make the boat go wiled?
