Tell me about Reinell

I bought a 1998 20' Reinell Cuddy. It seems to be in really good shape. I heard Reinell quality has really gone down and that they are now "splashing" boats, whatever that means. Can anyone tell me about the quality of the boat I got. Is it one of the better ones, or is it one of the newer lower quality Reinell boats. I think it has a 5.0 merc cruiser inboard outboard. Appearance wise, it is good, good upholstery, no big scratches on hull etc.

With a boat of that age, condition and maintenance are going to be the bigger factor over original built quality. If you take a look below and throughout the engine compartment, etc. you may find the answer to your question about how the boat was built.
