I have a '99 9.9 Mariner outboard that only produces a dribble at idle and at low speeds. At WOT it is a steady stream. Should I look at replacing the impeller? I do a lot of slow speed trolling, should consider this a problem?

Thanks

Belchy

does it have a thermostat
Look near where the water comes out of the pee hole for a round bulge

I would say that you motor is doing the correct thing and keeping the engine warm at idle and slow speeds

As Nat says, new impeller cant hurt once a year
