Telltale on 2000 200hp Saltwater series 2 stroke

I am an Evinrude guy till now.Just bought a Grady White Adventure with a 200hp .The owner claims the water pump was new this spring as well as tstats.The telltale is not nearly as strong as on my 150 Ocean pro.Should I assume thats just the way it is?? Stream is consistent and seems fine by anyone elses standards but not a strong as I am used to.There is no temp gage to monitor which I cant understand and drives me nuts so far.Every Grady I looked at lacked a gage.

I've seen an Evinrude with a T/T stream so strong it'd make a horse jealous. So you know, ya can't compare T/T streams from different manufacturers. With that said, yamaha 2 stroke's normally have a strong T/T stream. And if compared to a Yam 4 stroke, there is a noticeable difference.
