Temp gauge not working i replaced sending unit in block but no luck,replaced gauge still nothing allways reads 100 degres.Help please

Did it ever work? Do you know for sure if you have a thermostat installed?

No it did not work,i just bought, i can tell water is circulating though,i can feel change in temp on hoses by thermostat when i run it, its cold then warm then gets cool again.could it be a bad ground?

Depending on the age of your unit ,you will likely have 2 temp senders. One for the warning horn and one for the guage.Did you replace the right one?Once you figure that out ,if you remove the sender wire from the sender and with the key on short it to ground , do'es the guage peg?If not ,since this is a new guage ,we have a bad sender wire.If so ,the guage and sender are not calibrated to each other.

I just bought an auto guage with sending unit from Walmart for $12.00. Works great.
