anyone know what the temp should be for an 1986 omc with a 3.0 gmc engine should run? mines running around 160 at 3000 rmp about 130 to 140 at low speed.thanks a lot!

It is or was july 4th everyone was on the water except you and me. Your temps sound good to me. I just hope mine runs that cool when I get back on the water.

Merc Blues,<br /><br />I think we are about 12 hours apart. Not sure where you're at. I work away, so when I'm at home, I'm at home. No office to go to or anything like that. I love working on boats and found this forum looking to solve a mystery of my own. Turns out I help (I hope) a few people along the way.
