I have a 2004 Sting Ray with the Volvo Penta 3.0 GL C I replaced the impeller last weekend. I also did an oil change at the same time. Took the boat out last weekend to test run and make sure it was not over heating had no problems everything worked properly. Ran it for propably close to an hour. I brought the boat back out today to run and make sure everything was going to be good for next weekend my wifes first outing of the year and the temperature guage was not working at all. I checked all fuses and they looked good. All other guages functioned normally. First question is could this be caused by me changing the impleller? Next question what is the next step and please be very detailed. Third question is it possible to just buy an aftermarket temp guage and hook it up. How tough is it? Thanks in advance for all help.
