I am a new (very novice) boat owner. Last time had my boat out was 4 or 5 weeks ago and this is first summer I have owned a boat. Cranked it this weekend to run it a bit. Cranked fine but noticed temperature light stayed on. No alarms no flashing etc. Weather temp was in 40's at night so I know it iw not overheated. I was wondering if the light on this model would stay on until engine is warm then shut off or is it something more I need to check into. Engine is 2005 model with about 150 hours on it and I just had it serviced with new water pump installed in August. This weekend I did not drive it...just cranked it and let it idle for about 5 or 10 minutes. Water was running through it fine. Any help is greatly appreciated.
