Temperature Yamaha 9.9hp 4 stroke

I am looking at buying temp gauges for my twin 9.9hp 4 strokes but would like to know what temp they should run at otherwise the gauge is useless if I dont know what its supposed to read.
Anyone know there running temp range

see where it runs normally, when it gets away from that you know it is a problem

They should have an alarm already built in to let you know when a problem shows up

Temp gauges for a 9.9HP motor, really? I've run mine at full throttle for 15 minutes after I troll all day with it, just to clean it out a bit. The water that comes out of the pee hole isn't much warmer at full throttle than it is at a troll, not even luke warm! Sherm
