Folks,
I have burned-up my V-8 chevy twice because of water pump problems.
Is there a device I can add to my boat to signal me if my water temp exceeds, say 190 degrees?

Doug.

The trouble with warning devices is that they get your attention AFTER you are in trouble.

Get a good temp guage and pay attention to it. Then you will know trouble is coming before it happens.

Good luck. :)

Re: temprature warning device

Thanks,
You are a great bunch. The Cole Hersee "Dual Warning Light & Buzzer" device from West Marine was just what I needed.
Special thanks to Snapperbait, West Palm Beach.

ps. To " The Hideout" of Whitt,Tx. I do watch my gauges however, Safety and consideration of others on the lake are my main concern. It takes about 90 seconds to go from 150 degrees temp to 280 degrees when the pump goes out.
:D
:D
