Tension Pully

Hello forum. Attached is a pic of the front of my aq125 Volvo penta engine. It's my replacement engine (used of course). The other engines had this tension pulley too of course, but REALLY corroded. This one isn't the greatest either. SHould I consider replacing? (They are $$ for such a small part)...or can I remove and clean up? Although I am saying this, not really sure if its functioning properly or not....

If the roller turns smooth, it should ok, but if there is any roughness in the bearing, replace it.
