Testing a VST Pump

Rodbolt: I got a super deal on a "used" VST Pump on Ebay. It includes the filter.<br /><br /> The seller claims it was bench tested, but I want to test it myself.<br /><br /> Other than putting 12volts to it, is there another way to check to see if it works OK??<br /><br /> BTW, I got the pump and filter for $26 ! <br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />John

install it in the vst. install the vst then check the pressure.

about what BenC says. usually if it runs its ok but not always.

Thanks guys. I don't want to disassemble my whole VST tank and such just to test this.<br /><br />I'll put 12V to it and see what happens. Again, worst case, I have a VST Filter for 1/3rd the price of new.<br /><br />John
