I know other people have had trouble with pop-ups on the site and I never did before, and I know they are advertising that gets revenue for iboats, but this "Texas-It's a whole other counrty" thing is driving me crazy. It's interminable. I have to close it with each new page navigation in order to see everything. Slows me down so much it's almost not worth it.

I'm using the latest Firefox. How can I control it? HELP!!:dizzy:

Move to Texas. Then it will change to Virginia is for lovers. Sorry. LL. I don't see most of these pop ups. Under FF Tools, Options, Content - I have Block pop up windows checked. No pop up blockers add-ons.

Re: Texas pop-up

Thanks, GA, but I have my pop up blocker turned on in FF, and there's no exception for iboats; and my windows settings also block pop ups.

This is the first time ever I've had pop up trouble on this site.

One other time I had one, but after I closed it a couple times, it wouldn't appear again until I left the site and returned.

Hmmm, no pop-ups when I use IE9.

Guess I can't blame Texas, today it says Virginia Beach in FF.

Arkansas keeps haunting me! Come on, Coop, leave me alone! LOL! Haven't had any trouble today, but for the last week the Arkansas Pop up has hit me at every thread for about 10 threads, then nothing for about a day, then back again for 10 - 12 threads ... and the cycle has continued. But nothing today ...

It just strikes me as so weird, after all the issues I've read from others having pop-up issues and I NEVER had one before! I didn't change any settings either.

OK. I went to FF Add-ons Manager and disabled Java Console 6.0.37.

Good, LL. Determination pays off. I just checked my add-ons and I don't have the Java console. Don't think I will either.

I use chrome. If I disable Java - no popups. But no matter what I type it shows up as one long paragraph?
