Thank you all for all of your advice and information. I have been lurking on these forms all summer in order to do some updates and repairs to my 1983 Sylvan 16 footer with '88 9.9 evinrude. I have been able to completely rewire my boat, add switches, fuse boxes, and update the panels. I have also been able to get technical advice on installing a new fuel cell, carb, fuel filters, primer bulb, and change the lower unit oil. I will try to be more active (less lurking) and share some pictures, and anything that I have learned while doing the work.

I'd have to say I agree with Typeopos, there is a lot of good information on this site. If you use the search function you can find a lot of stuff too.
