You were right, it was a stiff shift cable causing my Yamaha stern drive to stall. All i did was spray 1/2 can of wd-40 down into it and readjusted per the manual. Works great! Thanks.
So far the shift cables and outdrive mounting gaskets are still in good supply. Don't ask me why when everything else is gone. I still have several in stock and checked Yamaha's supply the other day and they still had them.
