Hey guys!

Just wanted to give you an update about my boat since yall helped me so much with it. I am moving to Chambersburg, PA and didnt want to trailer it up. A young fella around my age wanted to trade me his four wheeler for it, so I did.

I am now the owner of a 2004 Honda Recon Four Wheeler. There are no issues with it and I have been riding the heck out of it and it starts up soooo easy! Dont even have to choke the darn thing :)

Not a bad deal considering the four wheeler is probably worth like $2500 and all together buying the boat and all I didnt put more than $900 into it! What do yall think?

I plan on getting another boat project after a while so ya haven't seen the last of me :)

4-wheelers make great boat tenders. They'll go right up on the dock no problem, and haul lots of gas and fishing gear. Way to think ahead.

Ezeke, that went right over my head :)

TD, I hear ya. I plan on getting another. Not sure what kind yet but its not gonna be a bass boat. Gonna be something less complicated and more fun. I love the older boats.

wombat, I like your way of thinking.

I mainly just wanted to share because alot of people talk that you will never get out what you put in. I didnt do much but I did get the motor working and what not and basically turned $900 into $2500.

Re: Thanks fellas!

you turned $900 into a quad. It's only $2500 if you eventually sell the quad for that much.
