JB, do you intend this thread to substitute for putting feedback in the original repair thread? i.e. whether the advice given solved the problem?

thanks,

Re: Thanks for the help.

I am new to boating and would like to thank JB and Luna Sea for all the great advice on storing an outboard. I checked the posts for DIY outboard stands and can't wait to start building one.

Re: Thanks for the help.

Sincere thanks to tashasdaddy, D., roscoe, witty, SoLittle, and ondarvr for all the aux motor advice. I still feel like the guppy…but a more informed one. I expect I’ll have more questions as this evolution unfolds.

JB…Sorry, I screwed up and posted this under the “Outboard Non-Repair Discussions” forum. I would appriciate it if you would delete that posting. Thanks!
