As a first time boat owner working over the last year to getting the motor as optimal as possible I have to also thank Joe. I finally got around to timing and followed his method. I timed WOT in like 3 minutes which was off by 2-3 degrees. I can't imagine having to do it the way the OEM manual says because I don't trust anyone to drive while I hang off the back of the boat :lol:
