I just wanted to say "thank you" for all your help and pearls of wisdom. I had a hole in a piston apparently due to a lean cylinder. I replaced the piston, rings, wrist pin and bearing. I rebuilt the fuel pump and 3 carbs. Replaced the Lower bearing. Trued the head and head cover w/ a plate of glass and sandpaper. Heli-coiled the block and replaced all the bolts for the excaust/silencer plates. Replaced all oil and fuel lines. The Clymer manual was too vague in some cases. I could not have done it without you folks and on top of it all, I had a good time with the project. She purrs like a two stroke now. Thanks again. Need a tech in training? I am considering a new career, my kids are out of college in two years...
