First I just wanted to again thank everyone on this forum who have taken their valuable time in an effort to help ignorant fools such as myself.

By way of refresher, I have a 1985 70HP that was boggin at WOT. After much diagnosis, I figured fuel pump (primer bulb going soft). I installed an inline electric pump which seemed to work ok at WOT but also seemed to interfer with proper idle. I purchaced a new VRO pump that I was palnning to install, but I also decided to redo the carbs as well. Well the pump had not yet been delivered and the carbs were done so I decided to take her out and see what was up.

All I can say is MAN what a difference!!!

Not only is is idling well (with my inline fuel pumped switched OFF) but there is no need to activate the inline at WOT.

I hit 32 MPH with 4 aboard last night on my '73 glastron V156.

The throttle response is very nice, and the overall performance is excellent.

Anyone having any problems with fuel starvation, is encouraged to first rebuild the carbs. I don't even think I'll install the new VRO cause I just don't think it's necessary

Happy happy joy joy
