Thanks to all you contributors and answerers to questions on this forum (too many to mention) and in particular to those who answered my questions. I started first doing a l/u reseal on my signature motor and while waiting on parts replaced l/u and cleaned carb on 78 Ev6hp. Have everthing working great on the rude - starts after 2nd pull now. The carb appeared real clean and suspected it had been rebuilt before removing it. Took off and apart and it was real clean inside but I cleaned again with info read on forum. Put it back together and now works great! Will be putting 67 John back together today and expect great results due to info read on this forum. Thanks again to all.
