Update:
About a month ago, I posted about having a problem removing the throttle handle to repair the toggle switch for my outdrive. Phil and Seahorse responded with "dead-on" instructions. I finally got around to taking it apart, and discovered it was just a wire parted where it flexes the most. A simple splice and readjusting wire position fixed the problem.

Thanks again for the help, guys!
