Thanks to this forum, re-installing the lower unit was a breeze.

1995 OceanRunner 225. I was mentally prepared for the stabbing of the shifter shaft to be testy. The hardest part was keeping the exhaust housing in place. I ended up using alittle gasket adhesive. After that it went well.

Thanks to all the threads about doing this. It was far less a job than I had anticipated.
