Special thanks must go to Joe Reeves for the Timing set up info ??????. That makes life really easy and works like a dream ?????. It beats the hell out of sat on the transom at WOT with a screwdriver and timing light ?????..
The 97? 70 is rebuilt now after throwing a rod on No3 and runs pretty well. Compressions are 135, 137, 135 & it starts on the button. I just need to set the carbs up as they seem to running maybe just a little rich on the muffs ????. That may well alter once I get it going in a barrel with some back pressure on the exhaust.
