called the dealer and they told me to look on the front side of lower unit for a small hole and try to clear it sure enough it had some grit and sand in it cleared it dont know if it is working havent been on the water yet but with the motor off speedo was stuck on 30 since ive cleared it speedo is on 0 thanx for the help
