I have been looking to buy an inexpensive boat for several months. Last weekend I went and looked at one in my price range.
When I got there the owner was shoveling snow out of the hull. It was a real nice and sunny day so a lot of the snow had melted. Water was pooled everywhere.
A buddy and I were giving the boat our once-over. The owner was giving the standard pitches, "motor ran in a barrel...grandpa says the boat is solid..." etc. Then, acknowledging the snow and water, he says, "the boat seems to hold water in pretty good so I'm assuming it holds water out as well."
I chuckled. Then I mentioned to the owner that that might not be a good thing....
Still looking for a boat...lol
