The best way to restoring color & high gloss finish ???

I have a (91)Baliner Capri 2050CX. I love my boat, I have done every thing I can to fully restore color and high gloss with auto products.,I haven't tried 3M marine wax yet.When we first bought her she was so chalky & dull it wasn't even funny.Yes she looks good , but I am looking to fully restore her shine ,Give her that show room finish. I have polished her to the bone,the auto finishes dull every 2 weeks,Insead of spending a full day polishing and buffing that could be time on the water instead 8) (question) should I just go ahead and use Marine clear coat ??? Or is 3M OK.

Apparently the attachment feature is broken. I wish they'd just remove it as it would eliminate this problem. This post should help you get those pictures posted.
