The black and yellow wire and the powerpack...

I'm having issues with the electrical system on my '78 Model 200 Rude.
The mechanic at Mickey's told me to remove the black/yellow wire from the
PP and check for spark....

I foget exactly what he said..

If I get spark it is good???

If I get spark it is bad???

If I don't get no spark?????

If you remove the black/yellow wire andthe spark returns means that the powerpack is OK, and the problem is in the kill switch ciruit.
