I bought a 1986 Cobia 193VBR with a 120hp I/O. I'm not getting any spark to the plugs. At the suggestion of a decent local mechanic that I know, I've replaced the coil, condenser, points and rotor. Still no spark. My test light is lighting on the negative side of the coil and lighting at the condenser wire. The motor cranks but I'm getting no spark whatsoever.
According to the previous owner, they NEVER had any problems (intermittent or otherwise) starting it which was about two years ago before they stopped using it.
Where do I go from here?

Thank you.

Ahhhhh, the old throw parts at it and hope for the best method of troubleshooting. I love it.............. NOT

Go here, http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=288430 and read items 16 and 17.
Then buy the parts you NEED.
