Re: the enrichment valve??

Dunno what you are talking about. The only enrichment valve I know of is a valve that is operated by the key (used for starting). Upon depressing the key, a solenoid in the engine opens and sends additional fuel to the carburetors so that you have a very rich mixture when you hit the starter.....like a choke does, but it restricts air and this adds fuel.

You can take the cowl off and see the valve (the "other" hoses connected to the carbs come from it) and upon initializing it from the remote control, you can hear (the solenoid in) it energize. If you are in doubt as to whether or not it works, just pull the outlet hose off (the solenoid output), turn the key on and push on it. If fuel squirts out it is working.

Mark

On your motor it's located on the strb. side of the motor inbetween the start and carbs. It should be lower than the top carb but higher than the middle carb. When you push the key in it opens a valve which allows fuel to be gravity fed from the fuel bowls of the top carb to the idle jet/mixing plate area of the middle and bottom carbs. You can manually do this by pushing the button on top (or bottom) of the enricher.

Re: the enrichment valve??

Mine actually has a valve on top that i turn that lets me maually choke it. The guy who owned it before had used it to choke the motor and forgot to turn it back to closed.I think I figured it out

Thank you
