A few years ago I started a boat restoration project, Twin Sterndrives. What seemed like a Good idea at the time, I rebuilt the engine bay in double 3/4 plywood, instead of double 1/2.
I couldn't figure out why the motors, are at the lowest point on the mounts don't go down low enough to align the shafts... Until I did the math! Do they make a lower profile motor mount, or do I have to grind glass?
