Been saving my pennies all year to buy an electric anchor mate, finally saved enough to get one, found a Minn Kota on ebay for $145, normally they are $200, I was about to hit buy when I though I would check out the iboats store and see how much more it was on here.

Imagine my surprise when it was CHEAPER,$132, after shipping it came to a dollar more but well worth it, it helps support this site, I know where it is coming from and exactly what I am getting.

SO next time you are buying something for the boat check here first, they really do have the best prices around and it keeps this fabulous site up and running.

Been a good year for getting stuff for the boat, got my trolling motor this spring,New in box Motor Guide 55 wireless for $100 from work, iboats couldn't beat that deal and now I get my electric anchor, now if the fish would just bite.

you will love that trolling motor, mine has been on 3 boats. i also have the extra mounting plate and cover, so i can swap the motor to the boat i want to use that day.

electric anchor mate sounds like a nice addition.

I rate them tops, never noticed the prices actually ,
the service level alone is something you will notice.

I just got a new old boat this june and redid the throttle control box plus all cables throttle, shift and transom shift cable (omc). Got all my cables from i-boats needed them over night they came right on time the price of the cables were less than most other places.:)

Man, I have wanted an electric anchor forever, now in the fall when it is crappy out I don't have to leave the top except to cast, always hated crawling out the front to raise and drop the anchor, I have the hand held remote for the troller so that works from anywhere in the boat and yes I love the crap out of that, once you go wireless there is no other way.

I ordered a prop through the site - was very happy with the price and service. However, the prop didn't work for me, so I'm sending it back - we'll see how their return policy is...

Those guys are good!

Ordered it Tuesday at 5pm and it was here when I got home from work at 3 today, WOW.

Now if I can just figure out how to wire in a remote switch to the dash, I am electrically retarded and don't want to fry it before I even get to use it.

I will probably get my fishing buddies dad to come do it for me, he is wise in the ways of electricity.

Can't wait till Saturday so I can go use it!!!!!

Just like a kid at Christmas.

I too love the iBoats store, I ordered pins for my bimini top, a competitor had them cheaper, I told the sales person and they sold me the pins for the same price... hmmm, come to think of it, it's time to do more shopping.

Wow man, I actually figured out a 6 wire switch by myself so now I have a remote dash switch for the anchor and with the hand held remote for the troller I can run the whole boat from the captains chair, wanted to be able to do that for years, SWEET!

I got out the paper and crayons(really a sharpy) and drew it out, figured it can't be that hard, I didn't even short anything out once, this is quite an accomplishment for me as I am severely electrically challenged.

(A couple years ago I was installing a battery shut off switch and I hooked the ground to one side and the positive to the other, pretty exciting when I turned it on, I have gotten quite alot better since then.)

The real problem was how to tap into the existing harness without voiding the warranty, can't be cutting wires ya know, but I found some pins from a build a plug and used those so you can't tell I was ever in there if anything does go wrong with it.

6 hours to fishing, can't wait.
