So I'm learning about internal combustion engines. In my life for whatever reason I have never considered the functioning of an internal combustion engine.

It started with staring at Bond-O's avatar one night after too many Vodka and OJ's....and then researching my trouble with my I/O. Holy crap what an elegant piece of machinery. Compression, air, fuel, spark, camshaft and timing, distributor, coils and wham off you go.

I've had friends of ours with fertility issues....there's like a million people a day getting pregnant but when YOU cant and you look closely at all thats involved with making it happen its a wonder anyone gets knocked up at all!!! Same with an engine...if all that crap aint happening when its supposed to.......no go. But there are millions of the damn things working every day with out an ounce of maintenance.

Crazy.....

Re: The internal combustion engine

Gore wrote in EARTH IN THE BALANCE pp 325-326, "It ought to be possible to establish a coordinated global program to accomplish the strategic goal of completely eliminating the internal combustion engine (by government fiat) over, say, a 25 year period." "I wrote in this book Earth in the Balance that we should set as a strategic goal the phasing out of the internal-combustion engine over a 25-year period. I accept now that was a mistake. Twenty-five years is far too long for a goal like that. I think we can do it quicker." (Ramesh Ponnuru, "The Attack Man," National Review, February 21, 2000)

He has also said that the internal combustion engine was a greater threat to mankind than any millitary threat . . . No wonder his followers believe we should not be in Iraq, they don't make engines there . . .

Even scarier is the influence he's established, particularly with the young and niave among us, WITHOUT being president.

Get ready - the transition from the term "global warming" to the term "global climate change" sets the stage nicely for the return of the 1970s "global cooling" panic promoted by Gore-minded people. They'll use the science which disproves the warming theory to support the cooling theory. They'll maintain support from people who are inclined to believe the world is ending and it's our fault and at the same time win new support from at least some who do not believe the warming theory.

His next book: "An unbelievable half-truth".

Wow this is amazing.....This threads migration:

1. Combustion Engine - Metaphorically compared to reproduction and the beauty of how everything must work together to succeed

THEN

2.) Sek-sual (not sure if it would censor the real word) Innuendo

THEN

3.) Bash Al Gore and his "followers?"

Pretty funny stuff!
