Today is the moment of truth for me. Hope all my hard work Pays off! I put an 85hp on my 1973 15 foot Glasspar. She sits in the water kind of low as it is....... Hope the weight of the new motor doesn't sink her! I should be fine due to it is rated for a 90hp max. I''m sure back in 73 the motors were a little heavier ;) Im curious to what kind of speed we are looking at. Wish I had a GPS just to check. I will let you know when I get back from the lake about how things go.......... or didn't go.

Well.....??? SHE FLY'S !!!! Very happy with the boat! Im placing a pic or two so you can see how small the boat is compared to what is on the lake. I took on a 22 foot 240 I/O and it didnt pull away. I stayed right along side it. Im liking this boat BIG time! Oh yea. Spent 10 hours on the water today.......... Im home now but still feel like im not on land! lol! Here is a few shots of my 73' Avalon Glasspar 15 foot with the new 85hp. Hope you like!

Now all you need is some bumper guards to protect your boat from rubbing on the dock as the other boats cause some wakes when they come and go.

The bumper guards are tomorrows project. You are correct MRS. This where I camp. It is so nice to just walk down the grass and get into my boat. Love my place out on the lake!

Your welcome :) As long as you can camp and boat...... is all that counts ;) Heading back out tomorrow and staying till Tuesday. It is a 1 hour ride but is a nice country ride. Are you set up that your a permanent site? Or do you have to set up and tear down? What lake do you go too?
