hey all-
I found this place a few years ago, I lurk every now and again. When I joined a few years ago, I had picked up a Pursuit 2150 that had sunk. I cleaned, rewired and re-powered her. Then sadly, I sold her, and picked up a carver 2757 Montego. Nice boat, needed very little. Pretty much a turn key boat other then updating the electronics package, and general maintenance.
Well with that said, I got bored, I picked up my newest project a few months ago. A 1977 Trojan F-32. I love the lines of this ol' girl. Structurally very sound, no soft stringers. Although I do have to contend with some of the typical water intrusion on the flybridge deck, not to bad, not near s bad as I have seen on others. Shes powered by twin FWC Chrysler 360 V8s, 250hp ea. mated to Velvetdrive 71Cs.
The short list of of upgrades are as follows-
- re-power with more modern power plants
- remove and replace fuel tanks
- install all new gauges and electronics
- repair soft spot on flybrige
- Awlgrip boot stripe to flybridge
- update interior look of boat
With let me introduce you to the new love of my life, (well, other than my wife, and my dog) Here are some pics linked from photobucket!
Here she is, delivered to the house
