No not the rapper!

The shade tree special has been reserected.

Look out....here it comes...You were fishing on a quiet fall morning and the skys grew dark, A blanket of thick fog has settled over the water....In the distance you can hear the motors raceing to flee the coming doom.

One by one all are silenced as you listen to marine radio sending out endless maydays....

Then all of the sudden....without warning....and with no time to react...you see it.

A bearded fat man in hotpepper suspenders bursts out from the fog.

DON'T WORRY....IT'S ONLY ME.

I take that back....be afraid, be very afraid.

I fixed the rivets with s.s.nuts, bolts and rubber gasket washers.

It's as strong as concreate where I fixed it....but some of the rivets where I thought they were good are leaking....Not at all like it was though.

In two hours I only had 3 or 4 cup fulls of water in the bottom of the boat....Not bad.

I will be fixen those as soon as I get the rest of the supplies.

Now I have another problem....I WAS useing the water in the bottom of the boat as my live well!

I guess I'll have to shady me some in.

Keep plenty of garlic on your boats....make sure your escape routes are well planned....keep something to cover those hull ID's up with....And for petes sake wear your PFDs.

As a public service I will be fileing a float plan with the coast guard and US Navy and anyone foolish enough to fish those waters on the specified days is takeing the risk of being lost at sea.

Don't say I did'nt warn ya.

Cursewood.

WIth the impending storm and the correct backwind you could get a whole buch of speed out of the Shade Tree Special. Maybe too much to troll with but have you considered skiing? :D

BTW why not use some 3M 5200 sealant on the seam leaks.

Bob

OH S***!!!!!!!
Don't worry folks since my boat is still waiting on the funds to finish the repair I will treck to the mountian of the blessed fisherman there to climb to the temple of the fish gods to pray for everyone's safety.

See strange things are already happenig....I did not post this post.

What I mean is....I wrote it but when I went to post it my computer put up the "can't find this page" thing-a-ma-bob.

I was suprised to see it here today much less that there were post in reply.

Either way its true....Shes back....but not with out her problems.

She had been sitting still for 2 months and a little piece of garbage got lodged in the main fuel inlet inside the carb.

So of coarse I had to dig into that before the rain cancled my trip to the pond for a test run.

I got to test her out the next day though....She goes foward and backward and most importantly not downward....Not yet anyway.

Now if I could just get her out to sea without getting into a shouting match with mother nature I'd be happy.

Shadywood.
