I?m currently searching for a bass boat and due to a retaining wall on each side of my driveway. I have a limit on the width of the trailer and for the most part the boat.. I?m looking for a 16? bass boat with a 115hp outboard and since I don?t have money coming you my ears I have a budget of $3000.00. So, I?m most likely looking at an 80?s model boat. I will not go aluminum as that is what I have now and I?m tired of getting beat up when there is a bit of chop on the water. I have seen Procraft (some), Venture, and Hydra Sport bass boats for sale but they appear to have some what of a tri hull design. Can anyone one tell me how these boats handle choppy water, is the ride okay or do you get beat up? I owned a tri hull bass boat before and never again, bath tub with a motor on it..

I did find a 1984 Ranger 320V that fit the bill perfectly but some one snatched it up before I could get to it. Should have called in sick and went and bought the boat.

Thanks
Roger

I have heard that Procrafts are built really poorly so I would be concerned about any of those that would fall into your price range.
