The time has come...bomb Iran's nuke facilities!

With a crazed president persuing nuclear weapons and stating that he wants to obliterate Israel and the US, I think it's time to take out his nuke facilities. The war plans have already been drawn up. Israel has basically told Bush either you do it, or we will, and since we don't have enough conventional weapons, nuking those facilities isn't out of the question. We can do it conventional, so it's up to us.

The dems want to us to win in Iraq. In order to do that we must stop Iran's insurgents and stop them from pursuing a nuclear device to use on us or our allies.

It would be irresponsible of Bush to not protect his homeland and allies from a rogue state such as Iran.

As the familiar phrase states, "Let's Roll."

Hey Jason MOABs are fuel air that don't work so good in tight quarters, (they need lots o' air with lots o' oxygen to work properly otherwise: jus' a lot o' diesel that the eco nuts would cry about). Bunker busters are what's needed, (I can't see where America could do this so it will have to be Israel), unless George W really has some hair. Hope they have built them well enough to do the job. While Iran's president may well be crazy, the Iranian people aren't, and Iran is the closest thing to a democracy we have in that region. The people of Iran are not particularly hostile to the US and the west, but bombing them would sure change that, particularly when we don't have a clue what exactly we should bomb.

Sounds like a Cheney plan, for sure!

Okay, let's say we bomb their nuke facilities. Where do you think the radiation is going to go? It might not spread as far as a nuke's radiation, but the contamination is still going to be devastating. And a whole lotta angry people in Iran and points east are going to become refugees.

Expanding on PW2's comment, judging by their recent election, their prez is about as popular there as ours is here. Bomb them now and his approval ratings shoot sky high just like Dubya's did immediately after 9/11. Do we really need a few million fighting-mad Iranians flooding westward into Iraq? They sure won't go east. Prevailing winds are going to take the radiation that way leaving vast tracts uninhabitable. Are Turkistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India going to appreciate radioactivity raining down on them? Would you?

OK, so how much radiation will be released from Tel Aviv, Washington DC, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles......

You need to get your priorities in order. Iran’s avowed, publically stated goal is the destruction of Israel and the United States. Currant estimates are that with North Korea’s help Iran could test as early as this year.

So what are you willing to risk?

You confuse Iran with their president. Prove to me that most Iranians want Israel to cease to exist. Prove to me that Iran's sensible majority will go along with their fanatical minority. Our sensible majority is trying to put the brakes on our presidents expansionist goals. What makes you so certain theirs isn't doing the same? Their recent elections indicate to me that they are far more realistic than you give them credit.
