It mightn't be news to a lot of people, but I've just found out that there are tools called stud removers that grip studs or broken bolt shanks. Different sorts around, but all do the same job. Auto tool or decent tool shops should be able to supply. <br /><br />Unfortunately they won't help free the stud, so it'll probably just break inside the hole.
