There is no way this post can illicit conflict among board members.<br /><br />Ok, here goes. I am building a model of he NOVI hulled Booth Bay Lobster Boat. Several years ago a friend of a friend built a 20' NOVI fishing boat, basically a shrunk version of the 30' scale model I'm building. The boat was beautiful. Fell in love with that boat and have wanted one ever since. Maybe next year I can start building a 20'er of my own, but fornow I'm building the model. It is 30" long (1" to 1' scale) and I am going to customize the model to resemble the fishing boat. I will enclose the starboard side of the pilot house, run exhause through the transome, add rod holders to the gunwales and transome, lengthen the spray rail, and add a forward hatch on the bow. I may add a small bowsprit with bow pulpit, anchor, chain and hawspipe. I will post some pics.<br /><br />I used to build balsa airplanes, my fav was the PBY. This is my first boat and I am totally stoked. I think I'll name it "My Redeemer Lives"<br /><br />Ok, no shoot-outs over this, alright?

'soulotly no shootout here---can't see why???--<br />do post photos though as you go---<br /><br />built and flew buncha balsa, foam, etc planes--though rc are cool--still love the CL planes best---got my roots there----(am now fooling around with rubber jobs with my younguns--you per chance remember the AMA Delta Dart????)----my lovely wife did a perfect three point landing on the garage roof when flying a #75 rubber job from drive w/ kids-------

I object to your non-confrontational post, SoulWinner!<br />No, just kidding!<br />Would like to see some pics, though! I've always been interested in building models but have fallen short on the time needed for the attention to detail! Please post pics as you progress.<br />Thanks,<br />Brian
