I'm not a mecanic at all but thought I could do this myself.
To be able to replace the thermostat I had to remove the aluminium sleeve.
Now I have to assemble the Thermostat Housing and before I do I need some informations;
1- Aluminium Sleeve: I didn't pay attention if the lip of the sleeve goes in first so it
seats on the thermostat to keep it in place?
2- The new thermostat is 160 degree, is it OK
3- On the Thermostat Housing there are 2 nylon balls with spring loaded screws.
Both screws when I press them moves in & out OK and 1 nylon ball is loose when
pressing the screw.
But the other ball is fixe to the thermostat housing (does not move at all)
Is this normal?
If not, How can I take it off so I do not damage it ?
I appreciate yout help & hope I am clear with my explanations.
