Thermostat Kit Part Number Help 1994 225hp Johnson

1994 225hp Johnson
only thermostat kit or even thermostats I see are for years 2000-2001 only. Anyone know why?
I would like to replace thermostats, gasketand anything else I should. Will buy separate but a kit would be nice.

ITYWF the original thermostat , part number 0436174, is NLA and has been replaced by 0437090 or Sierra 18-3545 but you don't state your model number so please double check with the parts catalog
