Thermostat Question

I must start out by apologizing for Hijacking an old tread!

I have a 2004 Mercury 225 EFI 2 stroke. I think the thermostats need replaced but I don't know there location. I was wondering if I could replace them since the boat dealer is 3-4 weeks out before they could work on it. Any information will be appreciated.

dont know exactly where yours is... but for the most part... simply follow the pee hole hose to where it meets the engine and thats usually where the thermostat cover and thermostat are..... (thats the hose that leads to the pee nipple that the water exits from on the motor)
